The Strength of Life

Vireo Vita means “the strength of life” and that is exactly what we aim to give you at Vireo Vita Therapy. We believe therapy is a conversation between the client and practitioner, so we will never “talk at” you. Instead, we will listen and suggest the best course of action based on your individual needs, using a personalized blend of well-researched practices. We believe people with mental health concerns are “people of the lived experience,” so we will not preach or lecture. As people of the lived experience ourselves, we know how disheartening it feels to be ignored or repressed. We understand that you know yourself better than we ever could. At Vireo Vita Therapy we will work together, as a team, to bring you purpose, meaning, and ultimately--the strength--to live your best life.
Stacey Lefever, LCSW

“For years, I’ve been told to go to therapy. Luckily, Stacey was my first go. She made me feel comfortable, validated, and supported. Her empathy and ability to read my mind when I can’t explain myself astounds me. She’s not just sugar coating things. ”

“I can honestly say Stacey has had me dig up so many details I've forgotten or never considered; even in therapy with other professionals. She is supportive, firm, honest, and never patronizing. She asks great questions and makes excellent suggestions.”

““Starting therapy with Stacey is one of the best decisions for my mental health. She is empathetic, skilled and offers compassionate, frank advice. She has helped me face my negative thought patterns and validates my inner child. I am grateful for her insight.”
